CALL COMMITTEE

"Be patient, then brothers, until the Lord's coming. See how the farmer waits for the land to yield its valuable crop and how patient he is for the autumn and spring rains."                                       - James 5:7 

PATIENCE has been the "buzz" word for the Lead Pastor Call Committee and for you, too, as the members of Trinity Lutheran Church. Currently, the Call Committee has received two sets of papers for consideration for the Lead Pastor position. We have met twice since the first of the year to consider these individuals and pray for guidance.

I have been informed by Pastor Laurie Natwick (our representative from the NW MN Synod) that there are further names being researched which may be forwarded at a later date. Until then, we continue to pursue and pray over the candidate's papers that we have received to date.  

Please continue to pray for us as a committee that we will discern God's will and guiding; and pray for the individual that God is preparing to be the next Lead Pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church.

In the mean time, we give thanks for Pastor Jo and Pastor Lee and his wife, Jan, as they worship and share God's word with us during this special season of Lent 2010.
