Though it is still July, planning for the J.A.M. ministry year is well underway! We are still in need of teachers/leaders for the following areas:

  • Pre-School Story/Craft Leader(s)
  • 1st Grade (2)
  • 2nd Grade
  • 8th Grade
  • 10th Grade

Thank you so much for prayerfully considering sharing your time and talents with Trinity’s youth in our teaching ministry – it’s a decision you will never regret! You will make a lasting impact on our kid’s faith journey and you will also enrich your own relationship with God along the way!
Please call Leah Winjum at 281-4276 if you would like to serve in this capacity during the 2017-2018 ministry year. THANK YOU!

Callie Boucher, Harrison Boucher and Ben Dorman have received scholarships from Trinity’s Mission Endowment Fund to assist with furthering their higher education. Individuals who apply for scholarships from the M/E Fund must meet these criterion: be in their first four years of study, be a member of Trinity and attending a Christian college in the United States. The student was also asked to submit a brief essay describing the influence Trinity has had on their life and faith. They were asked to discuss their future plans and goals.
Congratulations to these young people and God’s blessings to them as they continue their pursuit of higher education: Callie at Augsburg College, Harrison at Gustavus Adolphus College, and Ben at Concordia College – Moorhead.

Before you know it, summer will be ending and you’ll be wishing you had spent some time at
Trinity Point!

If you want a day at the lake, come out and enjoy the beautiful water, sandy beach, and lush green lawn at Trinity Point! We are blessed to have a place to bring our families to relax, enjoy a picnic, have fun on the playground, swim, play in the sand, relax by the water, read a book…simply enjoy summer in Minnesota!
To get to Trinity Point:
From Crookston, follow Highway 2 East to Mentor, MN. Turn right on
Cty. Rd. 10 on the east side of Mentor; follow Cty. Rd. 10 past Lakeview Resort and the public beach/boat access on the East Shore.
Take the next right after the public access (N. Trinity Point Rd), follow the road approximately one mile and turn left into Trinity Point.
The street address for Trinity Point is:
15577 N. Trinity Point Rd, SE (for your GPS).
Phone number for Trinity Point is (218) 687-4380.

Starting today, we return to the to the Revised Common Lectionary (RCL) for our Biblical texts for worship.
We began using the Narrative Lectionary in September to try something different, focus on one Biblical text,
and to follow scripture more consecutively within a book in the Bible.

If you are asking “why” we are using the Revised Common Lectionary, it is to keep things simple and relevant.
Trinity is in collaboration with First Presbyterian which follows the RCL. There is less confusion when we have guest preachers and Pr.  Isaacson is mentoring someone at another church who is also using the RCL.

When you have filled your Walk for Water coin bottle,
please return it to the church office. Thank you!

Jesus said, “but whoever drinks of the water I give him, will never thirst…”
